Paryse Desmeules holds a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Ottawa and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Université de Moncton. She is a clinically certified Speech-Language Pathologist with SAC (Speech and Audiology Canada) and NBASLPA. Paryse began her career in the Bathurst public school system in 2014 where she acquired expertise in learning disabilities, language disorders and speech sound disorders. Paryse currently offers virtual services within Clinique Collabor'Action. Her interest in telepractice developed during the pandemic when she offered online speech therapy services to students. Since then, Paryse has accumulated a nice bank of fun computer games that help motivate students while learning.
Paryse offers assessment and intervention services for preschool and school-aged children with language difficulties. Her services are offered virtually through the Teams platform and cover the following issues: language difficulties, speech sound development disorder, verbal dyspraxia, developmental language disorder, lisps, stuttering, phonological awareness, as well as reading and writing.
