Donna Carter is our SLP veteran with over 30 years of SLP experience. She officially retired from her full time job in October 2024, but she recently joined our Collaboration team on a part-time basis.

 

Originally from NL, she has worked in both hospital and school settings, including 20 years at the Moncton Hospital. The majority of her clinical time has been spent working with preschoolers, specializing in the areas of language disorders, phonological disorders, ASD, and behavior management for children with communication delays. She has also dedicated her clinical time to two interdisciplinary teams for the assessment/diagnosis of ASD. Donna takes pride in receiving several career awards including the Horizon Mentorship award, two ASD Interdisciplinary Team awards and a featured article about ASD in the CASLPA newsletter back in 2009.

Donna is a passionate about helping children and their families achieve their goals with comprehensive treatment plans and supportive parent education.
